WEDNESDAY
 2nd DECEMBER, 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm

The Eleanor Farjeon Award is made for distinguished service to the world of children’s books, and will be given to a person or an organisation whose commitment and contribution is deemed to be outstanding.

This year’s Eleanor Farjeon will be a posthumous award for Sir Terry Pratchett celebrating his huge contribution to the world of children’s literature.


Please join us for an evening of drinks and celebration as we recognise one of the most popular British authors of all time. 



Sir Terry Pratchett, creator of the Discworld Universe, sadly died on March 12th 2015. 
He was the author of over fifty bestselling books. His novels have been widely adapted for stage and screen, and he was the winner of multiple prizes, including the Carnegie Medal, as well as being awarded a knighthood for services to literature.

This event happened a long time a go, and sadly I wasn’t a part of it. On https://www.essay-to-go.net/ I read some good material about the event. I hope to read about other events of this site.
